Asian Business Community ABC has implemented a second partial lockdown following the upsurge of COVID-19 cases.

According to a statement released by ABC,the decision has been made after having extensive discussions with medical professionals, community leaders and business persons.

The organization says has given directives to its community which include, mandatory wearing of a face mask, ban gatherings of more than 20 people, persons aged 60 and above are not allowed leave their homes among others.

These guidelines are due to limited capacity at its Royal Palm COVID 19 facility and acute shortage of oxygen,ABC says.

The grouping since the first case was recorded in the country, has been very active in helping Government to contain the pandemic by among other things donating medical equipment to public hospitals.

Meanwhile all districts in the country have confirmed COVID-19 cases after Ntchisi recorded its first case.
