Ant Corruption Bureau ACB is looking for minister of lands, housing and urban development Kezzie Msukwa for engaging in some corrupt practices in some land related matters in Area 46, Lilongwe district and Chipoka in Salima district
The hunt follows the issuance of the warrant of arrest by Lilongwe magistrate court to the bureau

“Satar was arrested on 29th December in Lilongwe on allegations that he had been giving bribes to politically exposed persons with the aim of influencing various Malawi government departments to corruptly award contracts to companies belonging to him,” reads ACB statement
Commenting, political analyst Sherif Kaisi has said it would be an honour for minister of lands Kezi Msukwa if he resigns from the ministerial post.
According to kaisi “Msukwa should not wait for the president to fire him from the post adding Chakwera should not rush to do so until ACB concludes investigations.”
Recently, ACB restricted Ministry of lands, housing and urban development from dealing with properties
In a press release ACB principal public relations officer Egrita Ndala says it is believed that Zuneth Satar has beneficial interest in the 86 plots in Lilongwe.
