Access to information act which will allow Malawians hold their authorities accountable has been operationalised.
Speaking with Radio Islam minister of information Gospel Kazako, said there is room for amendment of some regulations.
“It is surprising that some people who have been calling for operationalisation of the act are bringing in issues,” says Kazako
Misa Malawi chairperson Teleza Ndaga asked people to use the act for the benefit of the country.
Speaking earlier, Malawi Human Rights Commission executive director, Reverend Patrick Semphere said they had asked government to delay the process as some stakeholders are not prepared and regulations have not been adequately disseminated.
