Angry people from Kaziputa, Kusando and Ng’anjo villages in the area of Traditional Authority Msakambewa, Dowa district have set ablaze a minibus belonging to a businessman over blood sucking rumours.

According to public relations officer for Dowa police sub inspector Gladson M’bumpha the incident happened during the night of March 29 in Kaziputa village.

The minibus registration number NS 4178 belonging to Mcdonald Lupiya of Ntchisi was being driven by Charles Kambewa from Chembe village in TA Kalonga in Salima and was hired by two businessmen from Area 25 in Lilongwe.
