Muslim women Organisation donates Iron sheets and cement to needy Muslims

Muslim women organisation Mangochi chapter has donated iron sheets and cement to four needy Muslim women at Mkwepu village Traditional Authority Namabvi in the district.

Chairlady of the chapter Maryam Mbewe said the donation was made after realizing poor environment the women are residing.

“Apart from doing dawah Muslim women have the responsibility to assist other Muslims who are in need,” Mbewe said.

One of the beneficiaries Khadija Mkumbira commended Muslim women organisation Mangochi chapter for the donation.

Mkumbira said “I will use the items to build a decent house because grass thatched ones are prone to disasters.”

She therefore asked Muslim women in the country to participate in dawah for Islam to prosper.
