Government launches Pabwalo interface platform

Government has launched an interface platform called Pabwalo to enhance dialogue with the general public

The initiative, which was launched by Minister of civic education and national unity Timothy Mtambo will ensure that citizens are knowledgeable of obligations and functions which the state executes through its ministries, departments and agencies.

Speaking during the event, Mtambo said the initiative will play a crucial role in governance as it will empower citizens to demand their rights from duty bearers and inculcate a culture of responsibility among citizens.

“The development will give people tools and space to address gaps in governing the country by improving the economic and social aspect,” Mtambo

He further said the initiative will include different stakeholders such as Federation of Disability Organisations in Malawi (FEDOMA), to ensure inclusiveness
