Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry MCCCI has said 165 companies have confirmed to take part in this year’s international trade fair.
Speaking during a press briefing on the preparation of the 29th trade fair, chief operations officer for MCCCI chimwemwe Luhanga said out of 165 companies 15 are from other countries.
“Such countries include Zambia, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Kenya and India,”said Luhanga.
Luhanga said he believes that by 20th May MCCCI will get confirmation from many companies to match last year’s number of 240.
This year’s theme is productivity: a source of export competitiveness.
