Malawi’s 2018 National Holy Quran Competition Set

Organizers of National Holy Quran Competition have said all is set for the competition in 2018.

They have called upon Muslim women and girls to participate in this year’s competition.

The remarks come as Radio Islam wanted to find out the progress of the preparations.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, the National Coordinator for National Holy Quran Competition Sheikh Cassim Chongolo bemoaned low participation of women and girls in the competition in previous years.

“The main challenge is that preliminary stages are held in far areas and the sessions end during odd hours,” said sheikh Chongolo

The National Holy Quran Competition is an annual competition aimed at encouraging Muslims to memorize the Holy Quran.
