Civil Service Commission advised to act professionally

Newly appointed commission of civil service and public reform has been advised to be discharging its duties professionally.

Speaking to radio Islam in an interview National Chairperson of local non governmental organisations forum Cossam Munthali said Malawians are expecting that the commission will sustain its position.

Munthali told our reporter in Karonga that the commission should deliver according to people’s expectations for it to accomplish its goals. He says it is very worrisome to note that previous commissions appointed by former regimes were not serving interests of locals.

The state president Professor Peter Mutharika appointed the commission which is headed by his deputy Saulos Chilima.
