Eid prayers on 22 August in Malawi

Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has said Eidul-Adhuha prayers will be held on Wednesday 22 August, 2018 in Malawi.

Speaking to Radio Islam Secretary General of MAM Alhajj Twaibu Lawe wished all Muslims happy Eid

Alhajj Lawe then urged Malawians to participate in the 2018 population and housing census.

“Census is very important because it helps government to make its plans,” Alhajj Lawe said.

He also urged people in the country to register in the on-going voter registration exercise for 2019 tripartite elections.
