Immigration Department Arrests Man Over Fake Passport

Eastern region immigration department has arrested a man for allegedly possessing a fake passport.

Speaking to journalists the eastern region immigration officer Vivian Kasambo said the suspect is Christpher Maleka was using a fake name of James Chisale.

“Maleka had been arrested at the immigration office as he wanted to apply for passport replacement,” Kasambo said

He alleged that some people in South Africa are producing the fake passports.
