Malawi President Goes To UNGA

President of Malawi Professor Peter Mutharika has gone to United States of America to attend this year’s UN General Assembly UNGA.

Speaking before his departure at Kamuxu International Airport in the capital City Lilongwe Mutharika said the Malawi delegation will learn a lot for instance on how to achieve sustainable development goals.

“UNGA is very important for the development of Malawi,” Mutharika said.

He stressed that the international community appreciates the development his government is doing though Malawians cannot see.

This year’s UNGA will take place from 25 September to 5 October.

Six cabinet Ministers have accompanied Mutharika.
