Muslim Girls International Director In Malawi

Director of Muslim Girls International Ashura Mutale has said teaching girls on Islamic principles in Primary and Secondary School is very vital in promoting Islam.

Mutale who is on a tour to southern African countries made the remarks during motivation talk at Mai Halima Girls Secondary School in Mulanje district.

She said “there is a lot to be done to promote Islam in Africa.

In his remarks one of the sheikhs at Mai Halima Girls Secondary school asked Muslim professionals to visit secondary schools in order to motivate girls in their education.

“If many learned Muslims take their time to inspire young girls, they can do well in their studies,” Sheikh Ibrahim Idi said

On the performance of the School, the sheikh said so far it is doing well as compared to the past.

He then asked all Muslims in the country to join hands to improve performance of Muslim students.

Speaking on behalf of their friends Rasheeda Cassim and Hawa Shafick Issa commended Mutale for visiting saying will put into use the lessons acquired.
