Muslim Girl Awarded For Passing MSCE With Flying Colors

Police women network in Mangochi has awarded a Muslim girl Halima Amasi for passing MSCE with flying colours at St. Monica Community Day Secondary School.

According to chairperson of the network inspector Norah Chimwala Halima aged 17 scooped 13 points.

Chimwala said the girl has received a double blanket worthy K20, 000 as a gift from the Police women.

“We have fulfilled the promise the network made during our previous visit to the school,” Chimwala said

She applauded Halima for showing to the world that a girl child can do better than a male child.

Chimwala further urged the girl to maintain her hardworking spirit and be focused as she pursues tertiary education.

She also advised other girls at the school to work extra hard for them to do well in next MSCE exams.

In her remarks Halima thanked the Police women for the gift.

“I will work extra hard in order to achieve my goals,” said Halima

Mangochi Police women network has been active in various works such as school outreach programs and donations.
