National adolescent girl’s development organisation says poverty is still the major challenge fueling early child marriage.
Mussa Xalira director of the newly launched organisation said they aim to eradicate early marriages by training girls to be self reliant.
“We have introduced various programs that will help to improve their lives,” Xalira said
He added that his organisation is working in conjunction with victim support units and other partners in identifying girls who can benefit with the program.
The initiative will start in February this year.
