Presidential adviser persuades chiefs and business operators to work with police

Business owners in Mangochi district have been urged to strengthen their partnership with Malawi Police Service as one way of promoting peace and security in the district.
Symon Vuwa Kaunda the presidential advisor on national unity and parliamentary affairs made the appeal in Mangochi district at a meeting with business committee and traditional leaders around Mangochi Township.
Kaunda said that they have made the appeal as a strategy of reducing crimes in the district.
He also said that Malawi can only increase its economy and achieve development when there is peace and security in the country.
However Kaunda asked the general public to inform the police on any suspicious development.
