Radio Islam Listeners donate to the needy

Mangochi Radio Islam listeners Association has donated food items to poor people and a house to the elderly in Mwanyama village TA Mponda in the district.

Speaking to radio Islam chairperson for the association Davie Daud Mpalume said the elderly were residing in a house which had no roof hence dangerous especially during this rainy season.

“We used the monthly contribution funds to improve welfare of the poor,” said Mpalume.

The elderly commended the association for its love and appealed for assistance from well wishers.
