Sidik Mia Foundation calls for proper care of Islamic infrastructures

Muslims have been asked to take proper care of infrastructures which are being constructed by different organizations in Malawi.

Director of Sidik Mia Foundation Omar Ndeketa said this during official opening of Baitu Limuqadas Masjid in the area of traditional Authority Mpama in Chiradzulu district.

Ndeketa who represented the organization’s chairman Muhammad Sidik Mia said every Muslim should take responsibility in different developments to promote lslam.

“Parents should send their children to attain secular and Islamic education in order to become responsible citizens of Malawi,” said Ndeketa

He also asked for love and unity among Muslims saying supporting each other is a pillar to success.

In his remarks Baitu Limuqadas Masjid chairman Abdul Aziz Katande expressed his joy as the area had only one Masjid.

” We will take care of the infrastructure so that it may last long,” said Katande.

However he asked Sidik Mia Foundation and other well wishers to construct classrooms for secular education and Madrassah at the center.

The masjid construction project was funded by AID International Trust Malawi.
