Sultan Chowe Calls on Muslims to Generously Contribute to Quran House

Sultan Chowe of Mangochi district has called on Muslims in the country to contribute generously towards Pulumutsani Quran House initiative.

The remarks were made over the weekend during the fundraising campaign at Chowe Primary school ground.

Speaking to Radio Islam on behalf of TA Chowe, Alhaj Bakali said Quran house is a very important building to the Muslim society in Malawi therefore it will be worrisome to lose it.

“I commend Muslim Association of Malawi MAM for various developments it is implementing in the area such as school blocks donated at Chowe primary School,” Al-Haj Bakali said

He therefore called upon all Muslims to help MAM in its developmental activities.

Over 160 thousand kwacha was realized during the campaign aimed at sourcing money to rescue Quran house.
