Truck Kills Minbus Passengers

Three people have died while 15 others injured after a truck rammed into a minbus which was ahead of it.

Deputy public relations officer for Dedxa police Cassim Manda said the accident occurred at Linthipe 3 Bridge in Dedxa Friday evening.

Manda said the truck also hit a van that was coming from the opposite direction.

“Two minibus passengers Matiyasi Marko 24 and Mike Jabu 16 died on the spot from severe head injuries,” Manda said

The other from the van died while receiving treatment at Dedza district hospital.

Two drivers sustained serious injuries while 13 others escaped with minor injuries.
