Malawi Degenerating into Anarchy-MHRC

Malawi Human Rights Commission MHRC has said the country is degenerating into lawlessness and anarchy.

Speaking to the press commissioner Rosemary Kanyuka said the commission has learnt with shock the killing of police officer at Msundwe, death of child because of teargas at Queen Elizabeth Central hospital, demonstrator at Mzuzu prison, beating of Billy Mayaya and injuring of soldiers during protests in Karonga.

“The commission believes that the solution is using legal framework and engaging with concerned parties,”says Kanyuka

She therefore called on leaders and all Malawians to embrace peace in the country
