Muslims commend UK organisation for iftar donation

Muslims in the country have commended Aakhirah team of UK for providing foodstuffs to underprivileged Muslims in the month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Ahmad Chienda of Islamic Information Bureau IIB was speaking during the donation of food hampers to 100 households in the areas of Traditional Authority Chikowi and Mlumbe in Zomba.
Sheikh Chienda said the donated food items will go a long way in helping needy Muslims to break their fast with decent meals.

One of the beneficiaries, Linly Imran said the items have come at a right time as they will help in alleviating the challenges she has been facing during the holy month.
