Over 400 MZUNI students graduate

Over 400 students have graduated in various programs at Mzuzu University MZUNI.

Speaking during MZUNI’s 20th graduation Director of Administration in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said government is striving to ensure that more Jobs are provided to young people who have completed their studies.

Hillary Namanja said the graduation of 476 students in various programs is a strong indication that there will be an increase of work places therefore creating job opportunities for all

“Government will support those who have finished their studies,” Namanja assured Malawians

He advised the graduates to employ knowledge gained and contribute to development of the country

In his remarks vice Chancellor of the university Pro John Kalenga Saka said the Institution has developed a number of programs to ensure quality education

One of the graduates Halima Msume who has graduated with second Upper class degree in Library and information Science said “my success is a great achievement for her family and the country.”

Halima therefore urged girls not to underrate themselves but work harder to achieve their goals

Mzuzu University has over 5000 thousand students pursuing various programs.
