President can boast his achievements when lives change-analyst
A political analyst says Tonse Alliance government can boast of it’s achievements only when lives of ordinary Malawians change.
Sheriff Kaisi has said the first 100 days of president Chakwera’s leadership must not be looked at how much the government has performed but if it has zeal to change lives of Malawians.
He says it seems the new administration has changed the tone of how it used to run the country in the first month as compared to the last two months.
However, Kaisi appreciated government for walking the talk on some of the promises made during campaign including zero tolerance to corruption and increase of tax free band.
Concurring with Kaisi, Centre for Development Initiative CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa has faulted Chakwera for including some of his duties as achievements in his 100 days.
Namiwa said the president seems not to be interested in reducing his powers hence urging him to promote Tonse Alliance Manifesto not only focus on his super hi5 agenda
