State president calls law makers to review new land laws

President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has called on parliament to review new land laws

Chakwera said this when he was responding to questions in the national assembly.

He said the new land laws are to blame for the mistakes surrounding land ownership

On lack of subsidized fertilizer in selling points the president assured the country that the affordable inputs will be available in all areas

The MPs also asked him on his controversial decision to open an embassy in Israel Chakwera repeated that Malawi will establish relationships which are beneficial to Malawians.

He told parliament that Nsanje inland port is not a priority of his administration but linking of Malawi to Nacara corridor.

Chakwera advised Malawians to stick to covid-19 preventive measures refuting allegations that people have stopped following them because he did not put on face masks when he was in Tanzania.
