Political analyst has called for coordination between offices of President and Vice president to avoid a clash of programs.
Chancellor College based political analyst Dr Mustafa Hussein made the call following the cancellation of a toast which President Dr Lazarus Chakwera was expected to host this evening to attend to Dr Saulos Chilima’s public lecture.
All the functions were expected to take place this evening However, Dr Hussein has parried away assertions that there are misunderstandings between the two leaders.
Dr Hussein has meanwhile commended President Dr Chakwera for attending to Vice president public lecture, saying “it symbolizes great humility.”
The cancellation of the cocktail comes at a time there are disagreements between MCP and UTM supporters especially in Karonga central constituency where November 10 by-elections are expected to take place.
