Fuel Prices rise in Malawi

Fuel prices have been adjusted upwards effective 17th July, 2018.

Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority MERA says its board resolved to increase pump prices and wholesale prices to reflect the increasing actual costs of petroleum products on the international market.

Chief executive officer for MERA Dr Collins Magalasi said “price of petrol is now 888 kwacha, Diesel K890.90 and paraffin K719.30

Mera had been maintaining fuel prices in the past years.
