Attorney General Appeals Against UTM Registration

Attorney General and registrar of political parties have appealed to Supreme Court of appeal against High court’s ruling to register UTM as a political party.

In a court document made available to radio Islam the appellants say are dissatisfied with the decision of Justice Chirwa delivered on 2nd November, 2018.

Chirwa ordered the appellant to register UTM within 7 days from the date of the decision.

“The appellants claim that the learned judge erred in law and fact,” reads the document.

Meanwhile, all parties have been invited to attend the judge in chambers on 13th November for hearing of the application.
