Ex-President To Empower Poor Communities

Former President Dr Joyce Banda says will empower needy communities if voted into power during 2019 tripartite elections.

Dr Banda who is also Peoples Party PP President was speaking at Majuni primary school ground in the area of Senior Chief Jalasi in Mangochi district.

She said empowerment of communities is very crucial in the development of the country.

“During my first 100 days in power many challenges were rectified such as fuel was readily available and there was no electricity blackouts,” Dr Banda said

Secretary General for PP Ibrahim Matola said the party will host primary elections soon.
