Muslim Association of Malawi Begins Paying Quran House Architecture

Pulumutsani Quran House initiative Committee has paid over 11 million kwacha to Dan Kamwaza an architecture who was contracted to design Quran House for the Muslim community.

Speaking to Radio Islam National Coordinator of the Committee Sheik Omar Nkachelenga said MAM made the part payment after its lawyer advised them to pay money in installments.

Sheikh Nkachelenga further said some Islamic organizations in the country have started making their payments as pledged.

“Meanwhile Alhaj Muhamad Sidick Mia has pledged 10 million kwacha,” he said.

Sheikh Nkachelenga therefore urged all Muslims to continue contributing towards the initiative.
