Zomba central hospital has received reading glasses from restoring vision and Fulbright association through Leadership for Environment and Development LEAD.

Speaking after receiving the glasses Zomba district hospital director Matias Joshua said they are happy to have received 400 pairs of reading glasses.

“people should come to the hospital to seek medical attention on their eyes,” Joshua said

Speaking on the same LEAD executive director professor Sosten Chiotha said “we decided to donate the glasses considering that the hospital has experts in the use of the glasses.”

He said the glasses will be given for free to people who cannot afford to buy reading glasses.
