Malawi College of Medicine Donates to Primary Schools in Mangochi

Malawi College of Medicine (CoM) has donated desks, chairs and tables to three primary schools in the area of Traditional Authority Namabvi in Mangochi district.

According to Principal of CoM Blantyre campus, Dr Mwapatsa Mipando they thought of donating the teaching and learning materials as a way of motivating learners to work hard in their studies.

Dr Mipando said that they have been sending their students to the area to do research and interact with different families for the past 27 years.

“The donation has been made to appreciate the good relationship that exist with the community,” he said

In his remarks, Desk Officer for Primary Education, Noel Mzunga, thanked CoM for the good gesture saying will help in providing quality education in the district.

Mzunga said life was hard for learners at the said schools especially during examinations as pupils were sitting on the flow.
