Malawi president dissolves cabinet

Malawi President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has dissolved cabinet with effect from today 13^th March.

According to a statement from chief secretary to government Lloyd Muhara following the dissolution and until the appointment of the new cabinet all ministerial powers, functions and responsibilities shall vest in and be exercised by Mutharika.

Mhara therefore appeals to the public that “all queries should be directed to office of president and cabinet OPC.”

OPC finally says all members of the dissolved cabinet are requested to consult chief secretary to government for appropriate administrative arrangements.
