Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has handed over 2 blocks of 6 class rooms and head teacher’s office at Muft Abbas Primary school to government.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony Chairman of MAM Sheikh Idrisa Muhammad said the blocks and the office will promote provision of quality education

Sheikh Muhammad asked people in Mangochi to be proud of the Muft Abbas primary school because has significantly helped in reducing congestion in schools around Mangochi boma.

He expressed happiness with the number of learners who have enrolled at the school and promised to construct more school blocks including teachers’ houses

Sheikh Muhammad appreciated the effort which teachers are putting in therefore urged them to continue working hard.

Traditional Authority Mapila thanked MAM for the blocks and Head teacher’s office saying they will assist in minimizing challenges the school is facing.

Meanwhile Cosmas Chimwaza who received the blocks on behalf of government thanked Muslim Association of Malawi for complementing its agenda of providing quality education.

Chimwaza urged parents, leaners and teachers to take good care of the blocks for future generation also to use.
