MCP to introduce farm mechanisation

Malawi Congress Party president Dr Lazarus Chakwera says will introduce farm mechanisation once voted into office.

Speaking during a whistle stop tour held in Mzuzu Dr Chakwera observed that Malawi cannot forge ahead with primitive farming methods.

He therefore said his party will make sure that local farmers in the country have good markets to their produce in order to help farmers sustain their livelihood.

Dr Chakwera added that his party will put in place developmental policies which will benefit all Malawians.

Dr Chakwera also said he will make sure that Malawians are benefiting from the country’s mining industries.
