Ministry of gender community development and social welfare says there is need to redesign adult education systems that withstand calamities

This has been said ahead of international literacy day commemorations on 8^th September

Secretary for Gender Roselyn Makhumula says literacy programs need to be redesigned to address trauma and emotional distress experienced by individuals affected by natural disasters and conflicts

Makhumula further says literacy ought to include strategy that encourages provision of entrepreneurial skills to adults
