Government to Award Best Performing Teachers
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will award best performing teachers as a way of appreciating the good work they are doing in the country.
Minister responsible William Susuwele Banda has made the remarks during a press briefing to inform the public about the commemoration of the 2019 world teachers day which will take place on 4th October in Lilongwe.
Susuwele Banda said teachers are performing commendable work that adds value to quality of education.
“Because of their hardworking spirit many students have been passing with flying colours and excelling in their professionals,” he said
The Minister then said the Ministry will engage stakeholders to expand the investments in teachers.
This year’s commemoration which will begin with a solidarity march shall be held under the theme Young teachers the future of the profession.
