NICE Trust Tells Politicians to Educate Malawians On Elections

National Initiative for Civic Education NICE Trust has called on political parties to mobilize people to vote in next year’s tripartite elections.

Executive director of NICE Trust Ollen Mwaluwunju made the remarks during a press briefing in Lilongwe.

Mwaluwunju said Malawians should respect women for turning up in large numbers in the voter registration exercise.

He said “though the number of registrants is less than the predicted, it is better as compared to the figures of 2014.”

Mwaluwunju promised to ensure that all registered voters cast ballots.
