Students Torch Thyolo Secondary School

Learners have torched Thyolo secondary school.

Public relations officer for Thyolo police sub inspector Amosi Tione said some students were sent on suspension due to disciplinary reasons ranging from use of cell phone, teasing and bullying.

“According to preliminary investigation the students allege that their places are being replaced by other students,” Tione said

The students destroyed the general building which comprises administration offices and the bursar’s office.

The students have also destroyed hostels, matron’s house, dining room and part of headmaster’s house.
