Muslim Awards concert postponed

Organizers of Muslim Awards concert have said the date of the event has been shifted to November the 15th from this month.

Publicist of the group Bashir Amin said that the change is due to people’s failure to vote in three categories of the best journalist, best pupil and best initiative because of lack of clarification.

“People are asked to provide a profile when voting in the category of the best pupil,” said Amin.

When asked why the concert was not conducted on Eid day this year as scheduled, Amin said it is a very busy day so they did not want to inconvenience people.

Muslim Awards Concert is an annual event which aims at recognizing individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of Islam and Malawi as well as improving lives of Muslims.
