AQSA Urges Hujaj To Be Agents of Change

AQSA has urged this year’s Hujaj to be agents of change and exemplary in their respective communities.

The call was made when Aqsa had welcomed 27 Hujaj it sponsored to perform Hajj in Saud Arabia.

Speaking to Radio Islam Ntaja Zone Supervisor for AQSA Abdulkareem Kanyoza said the organisation had decided to sponsor chiefs and other influential people in different districts to uplift Islam in their areas.

“Chiefs have power and are respected in their communities as such they should be strong in religious affairs for Islam to grow,” Kanyoza said

He commended Aqsa leadership for providing good hajj package for the Hujaj hence calling on other well-wishers to sponsor more Muslims next year.

Speaking on behalf of the hujaj, amir of the group Alhaj Abass Mussa from Mangochi said “we are ready to share their experience during Hajj and promote Islam in their areas.”

He said hajj has transformed their lives spiritually hence commending AQSA for sponsoring them.
