Chakwera Demands Mutharika To Produce Evidence On Bombing

Chakwera said this during the press briefing he held in Lilongwe saying Mutharika does not deserve to occupy his position as his speech can bring tension and divide people in the country.

In the speech delivered by Mutharika during the State of National Address, Mutharika said MCP and UTM planned to bomb Kamuzu stadium during his swearing in ceremony.

Chakwera said Malawians should not believe these remarks if Mutharika fails to provide evidence on his statements.

“I ask all my followers to be patient during the court proceedings which will commence Wednesday next week,” said Chakwera

MCP leader also promised the judicial service in Malawi that during the court proceedings, no member of MCP will make noise within the court premises.
