Eid-ul Adha Prayers Monday-MAM

Muslim Association of Malawi MAM has announced that Eid-ul Adha prayers will be held on Monday August 12, 2019.

In a statement, Secretary general of the Asssociation, Alhaj Twaibu Lawe has reminded Muslims to slaughter animals like goats, sheep and cows as a sacrifice dating back to the time of Prophet Abraham who sacrificed his son Ishmael.

“MAM is wishing all Muslims across the country happy Eid celebrations,” said Chabulika

Over 1.8 million Muslims are attending this year’s Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
