Fire Guts Minister’s House

Fire has gutted Minister of Information and Communication Technology Henry Mussa’s house at Area 10 in Lilongwe.

In an interview with Radio Islam, Mussa said the cause of the fire is not yet known as there was nobody at the house when the accident occurred.

He said “the fire which seemed to have started from the garage towards the guest house has damaged one of my cars which were packed in the garage.”

Meanwhile, Mussa said investigations are underway to establish the cause of the fire as well as the total damage.

President professor Peter Mutharika appointed Mussa Minister of Information in the recent cabinet reshuffle.

He was Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism and replaced Nicolus Dausi
