Fishermen drown

Two fishermen are missing in Mangochi district.

According to Mangochi police assistant public relations officer Amina Tepani Daudi the fishermen are Mabvuto Ali aged 18 and Kajuwe James 22 years old.

“Ali and James hails from Chindamba village TA Chowe in the district,” said Daudi.

She said the two together with their friends went to fish at Chindamba fishing dock along Lake Malawi.

In the process heavy winds brew on the Lake and their boat overturned.
