As one way of making sure that every child has access to education, government has today started offering free secondary school education to all public schools.
Government through the ministry of education has stripped off the tuition, book revolving and general purpose funds to all secondary school students.
Commenting on matter, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Bright Msaka, said the purpose of the initiative is to get rid of the barriers parents were going through.
“It is not true that free education will negatively affect the education standards in the country because it is government wish to create productive citizens,” Msaka said.
