Government calls for promotion of Digital tourism.

Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has called for promotion of Digital tourism in the country.

Secretary for the ministry Dr Ken Ndala made the call during the launch of 2018 National Tourism Month.

Speaking to the press, Ndala said innovations boost the Tourism sector.

“This year’s theme is “Tourism and the Digital Transformation,” he said

Ndala urged stakeholders to provide necessary support for the growth of the tourism sector in the country.

In his remarks, Vice Chairperson of Malawi Tourism Council Rollings Moyo said during the tourism month they will raise awareness on Digital tourism.
