Government extends auxiliary teachers contract

Ministry of education has extended contracts of secondary school auxiliary teachers

Secretary for education Chikondano Mussa says the secondary school auxiliary teachers who were recruited should continue discharging duties in their assigned for a period of 4 months

“The extension is effective 1^st June to 30^th September, 2022 therefore the teachers should sign a new contract,” Mussa

Meanwhile government has thanked secondary school auxiliary teachers for playing a crucial role, ensuring that teaching and learning continued amidst covid-19 pandemic
