Government, UNICEF discuss decentralization

Minister of local government has stated that national decentralization policy and local government amendment bill will empower local masses and establish robust development system

Speaking during a workshop on the revised draft of the policy and the bill Blessings Chinsinga said the policy and the bill will help Malawi to achieve 2063 agenda

Chinsinga suggested that there is need to pay attention to the two documents so that they are framed in a manner which is beneficial to Malawians

In his remarks UNICEF representative Rudolf Schwenk said national decentralization policy and local government amendment bill will help government to provide quality services to citizens
