Law Commission in Prevention of Domestic Violence Act training

Law commission officials have expressed concern over delays in trial of domestic violence cases in the country.

The officials expressed the concern yesterday in Karonga during a one day training on the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act.

Civic Education Officer for the Commission Gills Msiska, said it is pathetic that the officers mandated to enforce the law such as police and the courts make delays in pushing for speedy trial of such cases.
